Michael with a Distinguished Alumni Award for his "amazing" credits which include Beyoncé, Madonna

Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Christina, Beiber, Ringo, Babyface, Quincy, Michael Jackson, Katy

Perry, Dusty Springfield, Linda Ronstadt, Barbara Streisand, Gloria Estfan, Ray Charles

Rod Stewart, Bob Seger, Phil Collins, Neil Diamond, Bryan Adams, Andrea Bocelli

Michael Bublé, Travis Tritt, Faith Evans, Bee Gees, Hall & Oates, Fleetwood Mac

and many other legends. Michael's first solo album The World According to MT

yielded a Billboard chart single with Sam Cooke's A Change is Gonna Come

featuring Bobby Womack. In 2007, Michael cut three new tracks for the remastered

re-release of How Long and put together TRW with Mark Williamson and John Robinson

Their debut LP, Rivers of  Paradise won critcal accliam. In the years since, Michael's added

another hundred recordings to his voluminous, historic discography. BT Magazine's Platinum Touch

cover story on Michael revealed that "many artists and producers just drop their tapes off at Thompson's
